I'm Hollyn Smith
STUDENT THERAPIST FROM FRIENDS UNIVERSITY
I am a student therapist attending the Masters of Science in Family Therapy program at Friends University.
Before starting my graduate program, I was a long time dance instructor and devoted volunteer at various non-profit organizations, thus gaining broad experience working with children and families. I have always had an interest in helping others live their best life, however that may look to them. As I continue my education I plan to become certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Play therapy, and will have a specialized focus in Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Everyone deserves to have a voice, be heard, have emotional support, and to have a source of strength in their life. When you meet me you will experience the warmth of my Western Kansas roots and my desire to create a safe and secure place for healing.
