I'm Kimberlee Fields
LICENSED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST
As human beings, we each have a story that has shaped who we are today. Unfortunately, sometimes we don’t feel like that story fits us anymore. I want to collaborate with you to help create your preferred narrative and way of being.
I believe in being your authentic self. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families who identify as LGBTQ and help them find their place in the world. I also am passionate about working with those who are affiliated with the federal probation system get back on their feet.
Life can feel overwhelming and too heavy to hold at times, leaving us feeling lost and sometimes helpless. I believe in creating a safe space to understand ourselves better. Sometimes that means finding new ways to cope, establishing more skills, or even deconstructing the norm to find our new normal.
From the beginning of my education, I knew that I wanted to help people. My passion towards relationships as a whole, whether it is with ourselves, others, or society, lead me to dedicating my journey to becoming a marriage and family therapist. It was through navigating my own struggles that helped me understand the importance of having a space where you felt heard, understood, and to be able to simply “be.” At the end of the day, we are all just human beings trying to thrive.
