Calling all parents! Are you struggling with redirecting your child or children’s behavior? Are you feeling overwhelmed with being home with the kiddos and the old discipline strategies not working?

Then join us for our FREE Virtual Book Club! But wait. This is to your typical book club. You don’t need to read the book to join in. We’ll read it for you! All you need to do is come to the online meeting! It doesn’t get any easier than that!

Announcing Our {FREE} Virtual Book Club for Parents and Caregivers

Please join Stephen Mockry, LMFT-t, and other local parents and caregivers to get the much needed support you need right now. This Book Club will feature “No Drama Discipline” by Dan Siegel and  Tina Payne-Bryson (this is an affiliate link, which means we get a few coins if you purchase this book using this link). In this four-week book club, you will learn the following:

  • how to discipline your kid in a way that creates connection

  • how to move from punishment to soothing, validating, and teaching

  • how to help your kids develop skills, resiliency, self-regulation, good decision making, and a moral compass

  • learn the brain science that gives context for your kids behavior

Reasons to not miss this FREE opportunity include:

  • You will spend more time connecting and better navigating though situations rather than stressed and feeling out of control

  • There will be fewer arguments and fewer tantrums and more time connecting with your child

  • You’ll better see and understand your child and the reasons for misbehavior

The Details

  • Sessions run every Friday in April and the first Friday in May starting at 8pm for one hour.

  • This virtual group will run for 4 weeks: 4/10/20, 4/17/20, 4/24/20 and 5/1/20.

  • This book club will use Zoom. If you don’t have Zoom already, don’t sweat it! It’s easy and we’ll help you get set up.

  • This book club is open to any parent who is feeling stuck when discipline doesn’t work, feels uncomfortable giving discipline or is having more moments of tension than joy with kids. We’ll help you change all that!
